Sharing the Gift of Clean, Sustainable Water

Pioneer's partnership with Living Waters in Honduras

Pioneer is partnering with Presbyterian mission organization, Living Waters for the World, to work in rural villages in Honduras to help bring the gift of clean, sustainable water to people in need. Some Pioneer members have been trained in LWW's "Clean Water U" in Oxford, Mississippi. They, along with other Pioneer members have made yearly trips to Honduras to install water filtration systems, to check on the ones that were previously installed and to scout the next installation site.

Pioneer has partnered with the citizens of Lempa, Arenales, La Arada, and El Dorado to install four water filtration systems since 2012.

Pioneer is planning another trip to Honduras in the summer of 2018.  They will be installing a water filtration system in the town of El Magote.  Our team has now successfully installed four water filtration systems in the villages of Lempa, Arenales, La Arada, and El Dorado.  Lempa has already processed over 35,000 gallons of water and has helped two other towns through the site selection process.  They also provided free water to the churches, schools, and teams at soccer games for a 32 team league!  Thank you for your prayers and support!  Even though it's a small team that travels to Honduras, we all play an important part to make this mission project happen!  If you're interested in joining the mission team, please see Brad Mold or Greg Reynolds for information.
