Youth Ministries at Pioneer
Youth in grades 6-12 have many opportunities for Christian formation at Pioneer. Youth come from many area school districts and all bring unique gifts to the ministry. Our youth are active in the whole life of Pioneer Church, including leading worship, participating in mission, exploring questions of faith, serving as ushers and deacons, helping with the children of Pioneer church, and much, much more!
Pioneer youth in grades 6-12 gather many Sundays for a time of food, fellowship, and faith exploration. They may gather as a middle school group (6th - 8th) or as a high school group (9th - 12th). Meals are provided by different youth families and church members each week. Youth Group is a unique time and place in which healthy relationships are built and renewed, new friendships made, and we share one anothers joys and concerns as we affirm young people in their identity as children of God.
Montreat Youth Conference (for those completing grades 9-12)
A Youth Conference is a unique gathering of young people from all over the country for a week of community, fun, study, worship, and recreation. Activities include morning energizers, music, keynote, small group meetings where the conference theme is explored, afternoon recreation activities, and evening worship.
